We currently have a Forest River Wildcat TT which we tow with an '03 Dodge 2500/hemi. Nice trailer, but not enough space for our hobbies. My wife does scrapbooking - I restore old bicycles. We're thinking about some kind of toyhauler which would not overtax our truck - 30' or so, with a slide-out (mandatory-we're not as slim as we once were!) Any suggestions or recommendations?

a light toyhauler w/ a slide... I think that is an oximoron! Slides will generally add 800 - 1000 lbs to a trailer, toss that on a lightweight frame and thats a recipe for disaster, IMHO

SURV's are the latest trend in RV'ing. The entire September edition of Trailer Life magazine is dedicated to SURV's. It is true the slides add weight. When a model has a slide as an option, the advertised weight will be that without the slide. Do your research and become educated. It is your best defense when you actually start shopping. There are certainly many more models available today than there were a few years ago. Good luck.

Oh, and BTW - if nobody has yet, let me welcome you to iRV2.com.
