I have a buddy in the market to buy a new 5th toy hauler. I am well researched in Class A motorhome, this is new territory. What is the General mark up on the 43' toy haulers? Grand Design, Keystone, etc.... Thanks for all your help folks!

Related question: We think we found the RV trailer we want. Have looked at the floorplan in person. Closest dealer is 1600 miles from my home. So when I do a search for that model, I'll get a whole wide price range (Advertised) for that floorplan. From roughly $32k up to $45k. All 2018's, all the same trim level. All optioned about the same. This brand doesn't have many options.
The one we actually looked at was a higher trim level which we didn't want ($8,000 more). We were offered a price of $36k plus our 2013 RV trailer which I value at $10-$12k on the used market. This was for the higher trim level one they had on the lot. I told them I would rather sell my own RV and pay cash for a new one. He said you would get a better price if you finance. Does that make sense? So cash (check) is not golden anymore.
It is all cash to the dealer. He either gets the cash from you or from the bank. In most cases the dealer gets a "kick back" from the financial institution that provided the loan. I believe they can even negotiate the interest rate. The higher the rate the more they can make.
