Mileage while towing 5th toyhauler?

We wondered if any of you could tell us what kind of mileage you're getting with a one ton pickup truck dually pulling a 38' or 40' fifth wheel toyhauler?

I have a 2007 Dodge srwcclb 6.7 and get 10 mpg pulling my 40' raptor loaded

We have a one ton duelly GMC diesel with an allison trans and pull a 39ft 5er. Loaded our 5er scales in at about15000 lbs. We average 10 MPG in normal driving condutions.

When I had a 5 wheel a 3 axle 39.5 ft toy hauler I went across the scales and was 26,600 lbs loaded it was 10 to 12 mpg,with a 2003 dodge one ton 5.9 cummins.

I've got a 2007 F-350 6.0 diesel/dually with the Banks intake and 5" exhaust. Pulling my 40', 14,700 lb 5th on the flats with no head wind I get 11-12 mpg. On hills and/or with a head wind I get 9 - 10 mpg. That is at 62 mph. average. For every 5 mph over 62 I get 1.5 mpg less empty or loaded. I have the 410 gears with a 5 speed trans so if you get 373 gears with a 6 speed trans you may do better.

When we towed our 38 foot toy hauler 5ver with my 2005 Chevy Duramax 2500 HD single rear wheel with an Edge chip, if I behaved we could get up to 11, maybe 12. Most times we got around 10 unless in the hills then it would drop just below 9.

41-foot Cyclone, loaded, no water, 60 mph, '08 F-450 CC 4X4 w/ 4.88 gears, auto, BlackMaxx Tune, no rabbit starts: 7.7 to 8.1 mpg. Handles like a dream...anywhere, anytime. IF I were going to complain about the mileage, guess I should sell it! I make up any difference in $$ spent versus others is simple: Stay @ WalMart one night out of many. State Parks are half price at my age and awesome. Mileage with these toys is relative.

2006 duramax dually pulling a 41' voltage 3795 9.1 mpg so far.

I have Heartland 43' Road Warrior, going 65 on flat roads combined with southern hills I can get 8-9. Pulling with 2011 Dodge 3500 dually.

I get just over 10 at 60 MPH, and almost 11 towing at 55 (Kalifornia).

Pulling the led sled, at 27.5k, Yesterday, I was making just at 10.6, cruising 60-62 mph. Now, I do have an Edge tuner, straight exhaust, and airbox to help it out.

All things considered, i wasn't unhappy with that at all.

Your speed will affect the mpg. for every 3 mph faster I pull I loose .5 mpg. I find keeping the rpm's under 2100 gives me good millage.

I'll go along with four leaf. 2011 Dodge Phatboy pulling a 38 ft 9 to 10
