I know these mods arn't as exciting and inverter mods, water tank by pass mods, etc. but I thought it might give some viewers an idea they can use.

I did not like the tables that came with my RV so I replaced them with a freestanding table. I didn't like stepping on the floor plates that supported the factory tables, the fact that someone could hang a toe in the hole or the fact that the holes collected dirt so I replaced them with solid aluminum plates.

The wife wanted more counter space so I took and old wooden TV tray top and attached a couple of wooden blocks on the bottom side so it fit snug into the stove top grate. The wife is happy, need I say more.

Top side.

Bottom side.

I am still working on the design for the gun rack. Hunting season is only 3 weeks away so I need to get busy on that.

Hey Twinny Baby!

Long time no talk to!! Looks like you're keeping busy! Good stuff there Maynard...one question: the range top...didn't you get the top for that? Must be a different model? I see the micro in the place of the oven..must be a totally different unit. Ours has the countertop piece on top of it.

Don't slow down on the mods...Howie's thinking about some more as we speak!

WWFan, my unit is an 06. It had a number of features previous models didn't have such as a built in TV cabinet next to the refrig with a TV/DVD player and a skylight/vent over the kitchen sink. No range top came with the unit and the micro is a Microwave/Convection oven combo.

The standard (thin metal) stove top on our trailers has that little internal catch that holds it in the 'UP' poition while cooking, and then it can fold back down while under transit.

but, how many times have you driven down the road with that stove top in the 'up' position and then it maybe gets tweaked as you drive? I've only done it once, but i wonder if that stove top of mine is living on borrowed time.

that top of yours looks cool Bubba !

and i'm wondering if your gun rack mod will look as nice as the fishing pole rack you put in
