This is the turkey, you dog, wish we were there now. Gonna be a long summer and winter. That is unless Sandy gets her wish about the scouting trip. I'd have to go solo but it'd be worth it.

Actually, I'm sure there's a few that would (if they could) join you on that suppose-ed solo trip...I can always quit my job, lose the address, and join ya?! [Wondering if BLM has a max stay, though- tuff to get back in the 'crime scene without being noticed].

Nice pics, and very nice video too. I MUST get to Glamis next season. I know how fast that Ridge Runner is, but it looked like you were giving the Disneyland tour. Folks: that thing flat out moves! I see you are still running with one whip. Is Mark making you another one?

Oh, and what was the "Oh SH*T" comment at 1:12 of the video for?? Did you hit a Milk Vetch? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Jay,
The video doesn't really represent the speed well, especially when dropping into a bowl. And good job, you're the first one to catch that little slip of mine. I don't even remember why, I think I slowed down for a hill that I expected to be a drop off that wasn't. As to the whips, there were two in the video. At Coral Pink we were running a regular one because of the really low trees we were driving under. I think Mark just got a new shipment in. We'll be picking up Wendy's red/wht/blu one at Pismo.

Boy...gotta get this one back up to the top...

Hey Tom: is this a South Central Boomer trip, or can we hijack the idea for ourselves?! Since you brought it up, I thought It'd be fair to ask you first...but if you don't respond in the next 30 seconds, we'll snatch it up before you can say "dagnabit"!

Whatdayathink everyone?

Thought I would bring this string to the top to throw in a
possible mid point gathering location as we consider our
journey to Moab. We could pass thru there on the way to
Moab.

On the way to the North Rim, we explored the Cinder Hills
area north of Flagstaff. The weather there for the last week
of April or first week of May should be fine. There is lots
of room for a big group and it's nice, flat areas for
camping.

Here is a good link for the Cinder Hills..... Click
