Mounting e-track to walls

Looking for input and guidance on mounting e-track in the garage area to the walls.
We have an XLR Hyperlite fiver and will use it for hauling antiques to shows we do. Tracks won't have to hold a great deal of weight, but would like them installed sturdy and secure. They primarily are straps and bungies to keep things vertical and in place.
Was thinking some type of adhesive and anchor type fastener? Locating and hitting the aluminum frame could be a challenge in itself
Thanks all!

On a cool, dewy morning you might be able to see the aluminum frame behind the skin. (a small space heater would make the structure more visible) Have a grease pencil ready and mark all that you see before the dew evaporates. I'd use screw fasteners, not glue to hold the strips to the walls. You could also see if there is a place to fasten the E channel at the top edge of the wall, then if they extend to the floor the weight is supported by the E channel and the secure fastener at the top holds it in place. Additional fasteners just would help it be more secure.

Install 1/2" plywood on the walls first then the E Trak to that. Longer screws through the plywood into the wall studs and shorter, wood type, lag screws into the plywood where there isn't a stud.

Look at Lowes, Hone Depot, etc. for a stud finder. Those things work great.

Thanks all,
I did use a stud finder and it worked some, but not completely. I'm guessing the wall is too dense for accurate reading or my meter is cheap.
What I ended up doing was a combination of stud finder, tapping with my knuckle and using a very fine drill bit and was able to locate the few I needed.
The small holes drilled aren't visible and/or will be hidden behind a lot of the etack
Thanks again!
