HB,

Here's another pic that might help. The two white hooks next to the center tie down are for attaching the grommets that are on the bottom of the ramp screen.

Thanks Wes. Thats a help. The parts package has two thumb twist like you have on a boat cover to secure the bottom. I am thinking of using poprivets rather than screws to mount the rails. Whats your opinion?

Dave,

I don't know how the pop rivets will work. WW's are wood framed, so is there a metal structure in the corner to rivet to? I took one of the screws out and couldn't tell what it was going into.

HB I have the stock WW screen. What do you need? Can I help?

How is that Inverter wired in? I am going to do mine this weedend before I go to the NASCAR race. I think I'm going the same way 56 did. His seems straight foward and failsafe...ie no switching this before that or this gets smoked. Don't need the wife or a friend who thinks he knows what he's doing screw it all up while I'm out riding. One simple center off DPDT

Don my inverter is an Aims Power PWRINV2500W.
It was installed by a local RV shop but I am sure you are up to a DIY install. Mine is mounted on the foward basement wall just inside the port side door. The supply wires form the battery source appear to be 8AWG. I'll post apic in the morning of the install.

Regarding the ADD-A-Wall I needed to determine the attachment method to the ramp door frame. Wes's pictures have been a good help.

Don I also wanted to say how proud I am of our military comrades assisting the hurricane victims. I only wish I was there to fly some of those missions. There is just no finer euphoric rush than a hoist rescue.

I look at mine and snap a pic if you want me too.

I would love to go to New Orelens and help out. So would everybody in my squadron. We were all talking about it. CH-46's were born for that sort of thing. I am proud of what the guard's mission is and how they are accomplishing it.

Go get um boys

Don

Griz here are the Pics of my inverter install.

It looks like a fuse link was used on the hot wire

The inverter is mounted to the forward wall in the basement just inside the portside access door

This is a remote on/off switch mounted below the bed tier.Good idea I thought so the inverter could be operated from inside the coach

Hope these help. What inverter are you going to install?

Wes, the instructions say install to the door frame, thats why I was thinking poprivets. If I can screw into a wood joist I would prefer that. I'm not cool on drilling into the metal rail.

Don, if you could post some pictures of your scree in stall I would appreciate it. Perhaps there is a difference in install between an SLC & LE.
