New 4150 Owner Questions

Hi All,

We finally pulled the trigger and bought a new Cyclone 4150. The last couple weeks we've been shopping and trying to figure out what we are forgetting... this is our first fifth wheel for the family.

I think wifey has the inside sorted, and will no doubt find a few things along the way that we forgot.

Being Dad, it's my responsibility to get everything else under control.
Tow vehicle is a 330 Pete Schwalbe conversion with air ride hitch so plenty of capability there.
Wireless rear view camera and TPMS sensors I'm installing this weekend.

I do need to find some sturdy and hopefully affordable jack platforms capable of something this size for on grass if it rains. Any suggestions on a recommended product for that? Everything I've seen online seems a bit flimsy...

We are going to stay in it tonight at the house as a trial run. First trip is in two weeks time (local, no hook ups) then three weeks later we will be six hours from home. Again no hook ups where we are going.

Any suggestions from the experts here so I don't forget something stupid or make any dumb rookie mistakes?
I'm trying to learn as much as I can in a short space of time to ensure this is an enjoyable experience as much as it can be out of the gate. No doubt it will test my patience and intelligence the first few trips!!

Any suggestions appreciated please.

I think you are OVER thinking this ...

anything you MUST get/need is at a local store... so what if 3 trips to get stuff.

since you are dry camping... no power cords or water hoses.
store up water, maybe bottled water as well... batteries fully charged...

Enjoy your family, and Toy's...
