No, you know it isn't the money. Plus I could just sell the new-born. Thanks for the shopping list. I'll have to gather all this together in the next few days. I'll let you know if I run into any problems.

Spooner, if you have the DLS30 converter, you do not have an internal IQ4.
Your loopback wire with the phone jack you are talking about is WW's way of elcheep-oing to do a fast charge. If you plug that loopback wire into the converter it will boost the charge rate but the danger here is if you forget and leave that loopback pluggen in too long you will cook your batteries. Throw that loopback wire away and spend the $25 for the IQ4.
I have had an IQ4 on my FS2300 for two years and have never had a battery problem.
The cheapest mod you will ever make and one of the best IMHO.

spooner: dittos on TB's comments...DON'T use the jumper UNLESS you're going to watch it for about 15 minutes without letting it leave your sight. As TB said, it will COOK your batts. On the other hand, I have used to quickly charge them up because I've noticed it does a quicker job than what the quick stage of the IQ4 does- many don't believe me, but I's got the facts.

Just to confirm: if you've got the RJ11 telephone jack on the side of yor DLS30, you DON'T have the internal module- you need to get it. Call John Drake @ Solar Seller- the cheapest around and he's got soooo many other gadgets it ain't funny. I've already transferred some of my Christmas 2006 RV items to my 2007 List.

Easy...What are you talking about Sean, I'm pour.
I ordered the IQ4 from your contact in the LBC. Should be here Monday. Apparently I can leave my trailer plugged in all the time with this little thingy. I might have time to get the batteries today and be back in business for this weekend. I think we might try Pechanga Casino. I hear they have a great camp ground.

Oh geeeezzz...you're "pour"...gawd you and Donno crack me up. Must be your posts are too close to Donno's...the spelling is getting a little fuzzier on ya!

Hey...you won't regret it...we leave our SLC plugged in all the time. We also use the refer as an extra...comes in pretty handy!

And you and Donno being at Pechunga might be too enticing to pass up a beer...let me know too!!

Deb called Pechunga and they are all booked up next weekend. I thought I might slip a trip in this weekend but Sam is sick. We are going to hit that place up in the future so I'll let you know Don.

I will be pour/poor after I buy $450 in batteries. I will have to "pour" my life saving into them. "Trailers are holes in the ground you "pour/poor" money into."

Rod, I'm kinda getting the feeling that "pour" is the operative term here. What the heck, its only money! I'm still living with my 12 volts cause I use them in all sorts of different ways, not just in the trailer. I kind of swap them around from boat, trailer and whatever, until I go boondocking, then I just put 3 of them in the toyhauler. One of these days I may go the 6 volt route when thats all I need it for. Keep up the good work and the Karma will come.
