Man...found this deal I couldn't pass up...a pontoon unit with twin Johnsons (Moski had a twinge when I pointed that out to her), plenty of storage area, and as far as I can tell, room to get the Jeep on it incase I need to ferry it across a river to another shore (owner says he's done it before without any problem). And the best part it's got all the luxuries of a RV including a 30,000btu A/C unit for those warm days on the water. I'll try to post some pics when we get her home- I'm just flabbergasted at how well we pulled this off.
I know I know...I wasn't quite the boat type at this point, but I practically stole it. I hate to say what I gave for it, but let's just say that it wasn't an arm and a leg. Wow...you guys are gonna have to come with us soon so we can try her out!
Our first trip is planned for the second week of October on the Colorado...anyone wanna come with us?
There's a fair amount of work I need to do to get 'er in shape, but BOY!...we can hardly wait to hit the water. Trailer also needs some work, but I think we'll keep 'er at the marina til we can scrowge up enough pesos to git er done. And yes...I realize the RV part isn't a TH, so if any mods wanna move this to the TT forum, I'm OK with that.
Oh...BTW...bought it from some guy in Sand Springs, OK...great guy! He cried when I wheeled her away, but I think he'll get over it. But he was pretty heartbroken...I really don't know. He made me promise to send pictures every time we got her wet. If she doesn't work out, he said he'd buy her back...I dunno...

I see the black holding tanks are easily accessible. Finally a design that makes sense !!! That guy from OK must be one sharp drag eraser.
Sean, finally your boyhood dream of running your own Riverboat Gambling Casino. Are you still going to call it:
Huck and Sean's

Now FD:
I didn't even ask about the holding tanks! Wow...what a bonus...I'm just gonna have to send him some additional pics of us using them! He did mention about there being two types, though..one for #1, and another for #2- I was wondering what he was referring to.
Good catch! Hey...he left a couple deck of cards on the table in the RV section...that's exactly what I envisioned when we bought it!
Clark...you'll just have to come out and LMAOROTF with us!!

HaHaHa, I forgot to tell the turkey that bought that junker but the pontoons leak like a sieve, the tanks all are bottomless, open to the water if you know what I mean, and when you put more than two people in the cabin she'll roll over if they both get on the same side. Thats if it doesn't sink first. O, and one more thing, the motors only run for 2 minutes at a time, just enough to get into deeper water before the whole da?? mess goes belly up.
Enjoy the ride.....while it lasts!

Hoverbug is very knowledgeable in the Vintage RV crowd ... maybe he could fix it.
After all, ever since Sean read Huckleberry Finn for the first time, last week, this has been his dream. Lets work with him on this.

exactly 4 years ago today, we were talking boats !!!
http://irv2.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/263609445...626085952#6626085952
Some might say that we have made progress over these four years.
I'd say we're the same kind of fellers still.
Seans boat that he bought from Tom has a couple outboards.
It sleeps a few people.
It is real fancy.
... but my point is, we are still here a talkin' boats
... Sean, Riverboat Capt'n, of the Inland Empire Mess, welcome to the boatin' side a town.
Cap'n Fat

Thanks for the compliment on fixing Capt Sean's new endeavor(Hey thats a name, the "NU ENDEVOR") I can envision it now. Sean in his NU ENDEVOR water toy hauler going down the Sacremento River bailin his poopy tanks to stay afloat with skidoos in tow. It just can't get mobetter!

Tom- found the case of duct tape you had stored in the freezer! She's all fixed up and ready to "take on water" (humm...that phrase has duel meanings!).
And Fatty: I didn't know you were a Captain! "Captain Fatty"...sure has a ring to it! Who was your 'first mate'?

Yeap, right where I left it, go ahead, launch er! I think thats something like the last great act of defiance, Shall we salute as you go down with the ship? I can see it now, well, almost, will you be on the deck or veranda? Gotta get that straight so I can really see it.
