New to Forum - Newmar 3920

Greeting all, glad to have found this site and hope that all members are well.

In that I'm new to this forum and this question might or might not have been asked of the members, I would appreciate your candor and insight into the following.

As you are aware, the Newmar Canyon Star 3920 is a gasoline powered Class A with a garage - it's a toy hauler.

As such, the entire rear of the coach is a fold down door/ramp for loading the "toys". This is a pretty big and heavy door that for me, as I'm showing my age, it's getting more difficult in getting it to raise - gravity helps it come down so that isn't really an issue, it's the going up that's difficult.

So, does anyone have any experience or suggestions as to how to retrofit some type of mechanical aid - either electric or hydraulic to help in raising and lowering this door/ramp?

I've contracted Newmar and they were no help, which is quite unusual for them.

Would be interested in hearing from you guys and gals as to your thoughts.

Really not interested in changing out coaches and trailering so let's not go there.

Thanks in advance for any and all help and wisdom that you'd like to pass on
