There's also 2 stations in Baker The UltraMar on the west end of town ($5.00) and the Chevron station also has water, but the access for a big rig sucks! The UltrMar has easier access. JFYI

Ronnie (see I got it right this time!):

Daggoneit...yeap I did then got off on another tangent...I can't seem to find a decent pic of Dumont to be able to put a "X" on our typical camping spot...all I can tell you is after we get up into the flat land, we take an immediate turn right and head off in about a 2 o'clock direction- what we call the outer fingers (it's over by the trail that takes you to the little dunes off the 127). Call it the very western part of the camping area, north of all the "fingers"...

I'll keep trying to find a map that I can use to depict it better...

See ya there!

Sean

Hey kids:

Hate to break it to ya, but the WWFan household has succumbed to the Flu bug...Moski and Bri have been paying homage to the porcelain gods, and I've been Lysoling everything in sight so I don't get it. Doesn't look good...everyone have a great time out there and have a few for us, OK?

Sean that's a bummer! I hope Moski and Bri feel better soon!!! and you avoid it. I'll be sure and drink for the two of us. Might be rainy so I brought plenty of fire wood and spirits. By the way Glamis last week with just the Grizwald clan could not have went any better. No traffic and no people.... Had the place to ourselves and the drive their and back was about as nice as could be. 60 at night and 75 during the day. It can't be much more fun. Still have not found one thing I need serviced on the WW. Take care and will talk to you Wednesday.

Just wanted to post a couple of pics of our trip. We all had a great time. The weather was great. Yes we had alot of wind Saturday night but it just made the dunes awesome and died down just after we fed 9 in the WW. We burned the Christmas tree and were smart enough to come home Sunday and as I call it we house camped today with the fire roaring and watched movies and the wind and rain. Sure was glad not to be towing in that stuff today.

Clark, Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season also. It's back to work for me. Probably 12 on 12 off until we deploy the middle of Feb. Gonna try to go to Ocotillo one more time if I can before I store the beast until I return in Aug. Overall The holidays were great this year and I Love the WW. You know the family is having a good time when you have been camping for a week and nobody is ready to go home yet.

RRC/AMC, Boy that wind was somthing ah. Sure smoothed out the dunes though. Fireworks were every direction. It was indeed a good time. We need to figure out a way to find everybody in that jungle. I would have liked to have stopped by and said hello to you.

Hey kids:

Glad you had a great weekend. The bug seems to have kinda flown the coop right now, so we're safe.

Donno...great pics man! I got a favorite pic I had, but my hard drive crash ate it. We love Dumont- but it can be brutal, and it can be nice. FWIW, it seems it was poopy just about all over So Cal this last weekend- we got a bunch of rain and wind.

I gotta give you a call here shortly...been a while, huh?

Sean

Anytime Sean. Glad you warded off the flu bug. What's the latest with the new truck anyway? I know you're going to get one; it's just a matter of timing. I want a ride when I get back!!!!

Ya Donno!! Break out that hard-earned cash and get the buck tooth redneck to send you one buddy!!

Hey...as far as the HDT...that's still a ways away...Moski still isn't having anything to do with that yet- I've still got some smoozing to do. Maybe we can get Terry or Dave to give us rides if we can get together!

Have fun!
