Hey Everyone:

Looks like our HDH (High Desert Huggers) group has settled on Dumont this year (or next year I suppose for you technical sorts)...what are your plans?

Hey Sean,

It has been a tradition of ours to tag along with some friends out to Johnson Valley. Sometiime we stay through New Years, some times we don't. I have to check wih the boss.

Actually Howie, no...it's pretty mild...we've done it for the last three years, and on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say a 3 (now...not quite sure about Thanksgiving, but President's Day is when you DON'T want to be there).

We got wind of this trip while at Rasor Rd. We're considering the trip also. Just gotta get Lynne warmed up to the idea. Stay tuned!

BTW, for those that haven't been there for "a while", the NPS is charging $20.00/weekend, $60.00/annual pass now, and they are enforcing a firewood ban on anything w/ nails/staples in it.
