I'm currently shopping for a new Toy Hauler. And I'm liking the new Heartland Cyclone 3920(39'10", 12,505lbs dry, 2999lb hitch weight, 18,000lb GVWR - I probably won't load it past 15,500lbs). Does anyone have an opinion on how comfortably my truck will pull it?
Truck specs: 2006 F350 4dr crew cab shortbed SRW with 3.73's, a 2" front leveling kit and 35x13.50(E-rated 3305lbs each)tires mounted on 20 inch wheels. The engine is currently a stock 6.0 Powerstroke with a Torqshift trans.

It only carries 110 gallons of water ? Who is the manufacturer? If you're gonna spend this much money on a new rig.... wow, make sure that you'll be able deal with a well established, reputable company if you have service issues.

Will your truck comfortably pull it? Most likely. With those gears, any kind of hills and the tranny will start shifting.
Will you be over the trucks tow ratings? Most likely. You will go over the GCWR of the truck if the trailer weighs 15,500lbs.
You will also go over the GVWR of the truck with that much pin weight, and the pin weight will only go up when you load it.

Great looking coach. But I'm afraid to tell you that the 12,505 that they claim is the dry weight DOESN'T include ANY of the options that you'll probably wind up putting on it. Our SLC had a CCC sticker dry of 12,063# and it wound up being 14,460 with a 15k GVWR sticker- I've got a 18k one now, but I had to call in some favors to do it. That also doesn't include the LP Gas tank weights are any other accessories (batteries, etc) that they put in it. Coupled with this info, and the fact that it may have been year since they've updated their weights, you could have a rude awakening when it comes to delivery time. As far as pin weight- the 2,999# that they state will prolly be closer to 4200# with that front slide. Mine is anywhere from 4200# to 4400# with minimal water in the tanks.
I also need to point out that by their specs, they're only putting 5200# axles on it, and for a 18k rig, that's pushing it.
Given ALL this, then we get to your F350 SRW, which probably weights somewhere around 7500# without anyone or anything in it, and has a GCWR of 23,000-23,500. Load your stuff up in the TV, and you'll prolly be over 8000# with passenges, fuel, and hitch. At a weight of 15k on the trailer, you're at GCVWR of your truck- not to mention what even 4,000# of pin is going to do to the GAWR of the rear axles. Comfortable? Maybe. Insurably comfortable? Naw-ah. sorry.
Gosh...really hate to be the bearer of bad news. I know there's plenty of people who would do it and do, but that doesn't make it OK. You CAN add some Timbrens or airbags to the coach, but that DOESN'T add any capacity to the TV contrary to popular belief- it only makes it a bit more comfortable. And the fact that you're raised your F350 and have bigger tires only detracts from the usefulness and capacity.
Good luck with your decision...BTW...what toys were you going to put in it?

I think my trucks ratings are 4100lb payload, 11,500lb GVWR, 24,500lb combined GVWR, and 15,500lb towing rating. So yes, I'd be right at the limit.
This trailer is a brand new model and is fully loaded, so hopefully the factory weight would be correct.
I'd be putting in it:
(1) minirail - 750lbs
(3) Raptor's - 1300lbs
(1) Pitbike - 140lbs
plus extra wheels, tires, and gear.

I have to concure with WWfan. You'd definately be pushing it. As WW said, people do it all the time, but that doesn't make it safe or right. Trust me, the first time you get the "white nuckle" towing expierience, you'll understand what we're talking about. Also, with a leveling kit, you're front end will be way high once the 5er squats the rear. I had a 2001 SRW F350, and traded it in on my current truck so I could pull the trailer I wanted. It's not the cheapest we to go, and some people can't afford to, but I can only tell you that it's the best decision I ever made. I don't mean to be a drag, I'm just being honest with you. Also, don't believe anything the dealer tells you; you could pull up in an F150, and most salesmen will tell you it could pull it.
BTW, that's a good looking toy box!

Your GVWR is 11,500lbs, GCWR is 23,500lbs.
As WWFan said, with passengers, full fuel, hitch and stuff in the bed, you are going to be around 8000lbs for truck weight.
So, 11,500-8000=3500lbs available for pin weight before you go over the GVWR of the truck.
23,500-8000=15,500lbs total weight.
You might squeak by on GCWR but I doubt you will on GVWR.
My 40' Warrior with no slides has a pin weight of 3400lbs and that is with a 2500lb V8 rail inside to help offset some of the pin weight.

Awwww RAPTORAZ...look what you did- you got the weight police out! (Long-standing joke iff'n you haven't been on the bigger boards lately- poor 'ol Lincster's got quite the bum rap on that- but there isn't anyone else more interested in your safety and of those around you- NOR educated with figuring out weight ratings- I bet his eyes were closed when he typed that post. ).

I'm not quite sure about Cyclones, but it's pretty well common knowledge that almost ALL the RV Mfrs have been lax at reporting true curb weights- the fact that it's "loaded" means you need to know even more what it actually weighs. And remember: if the salesguy's lips are moving, he's lying. I can 99% guarantee you that we'd be closer than what he'd tell you.
I'm not quite sure how to convince you of this, but believe me- we've been down this road before with alot of people. And we certainly don't want to make ya mad or knock ya down, but give you the info you need to make an educated decision in this matter. Good luck...and keep asking away if you need any additional answers.

Thank's for all the info guys. I think I'm just gonna forego the Cyclone and go with a smaller trailer. Unfortunately that means I'm gonna have to go with a tow behind Toy Hauler due to my needing around 20' of cargo space. So I guess I'll start shopping for a TT with a front bath and no master bedroom. Unless anyone has any better ideas.

Yeah, buy a LE3905 from Warrior.
You will have 21' of cargo and with no slides, you will be within your tow ratings.
Slides is what adds alot of weight to trailers.
