Outback 240 URS

I just put an order in for a 2017 Keystone Outback 240 URS. Its more of a Cargo Hauler than a Toy Hauler because the cargo area isn't that big. My Motorcycle will just fit.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these? If so any thoughts..love it hate it? Things to look for etc... I had to order it site unseen as no local dealers had one in stock.

How is your Outback working out so far? I have been looking at this model and love the layout, especially with the rear bedroom slide. Like you, I can't seem to find a dealer within a resonable distance that has this make/model.

I am most curious to know how practical the cargo area of the coach is. I have a Road Glide Custom and my wife has a Dyna Low Rider. Would I be able to easily get both bikes in and out of this trailer? Based on the floor plan diagrams, the bikes would have to probably have to go in at an angle, if they can even fit in the first place.

Anyway, hope you are enjoying your RV!

I'd love to tell you how I like but it I haven't gotten it yet. Its on order, scheduled to pick it up June 13th.

Honestly looking at the floor plan and the specs I don't see how you would fit two Harley Davidson's in the cargo area even on an angle. Also check the break over angle on the ramp. It may be two steep for low bikes to clear. Not sure my Goldwing would clear it but my Super Tenere will no problem.

I am having the dealer add a ramp extension to make pushing the bike in easier. I didn't feel it was safe to try and ride the bike in with basically no room to stop once you cleared the ramp.

I'm not sure this model will work for your needs.

Good luck with the search.

Yeah, that's too bad. Online, it looks like a pretty nice trailer. I could probably get one bike in at an angle, but, the second probably would be wishful thinking. I didn't think about the ramp angle. I'll have to make sure I pay attention to that as my search goes from internet to real life.

Looking forward to hearing about your new coach when you finally get it.

Thanks for the reply!
