Pin weight

Looking at new toy haulers and I have been wondering if the stated hitch weight in the brochure is the loaded weight or the unloaded weight. I have always thought it was the unloaded weight but after doing calculations (total loaded weight minus the tire capacity) the result is the hitch weight in the brochure. I guess those who have weighed your rigs how does it compare? Maybe it depends on the manufacture? The two I'm considering are the Voltage 3305 with 2 axles and the inferno 3722 with 3 axles. On the Voltage the tires would be at max weight (if loaded to the max which I doubt we would) and on the inferno we could never get to max tire weight which is more appealing. Thanks. Dan

Pin weight will always be more. How you load it determines this. All manufacturers pin weight is dry. Only way they can weigh it.
