Boy don't I know what your say'in. Darn car companies changing every thing so fast it takes a year or two to work the bugs out. Then they change everything again and the cycle starts over.

Just an update:
Great weather, great people, great time!

We had the best weather over the weekend that I've ever seen at Pismo. It couldn't have been better.

Met up with Griz, Buford, Toolman and a bunch of other folks. Some very nice people.

Had the giant pizza on Friday night. 2 pizzas fed 26 people and there were leftovers. Had a potluck on Sat night, with Toolman and Buford and a Rib Off, BBQ contest. It was voted a tie. Tons of food available.

No injuries or major mishaps to report.

not so fast Griz ...
break out the details.

Your first Pismo ?
then:
how was the creek crossing?
how was the sand driving?
air your tires down?
after driving down the (wetter) packed sand, how was the turn up into the softer sand?
how was the wind?
how was comp hill? (i know, i know. it aint dangerous.. )
did you have some margaritas at that mexican place on the corner?
Griz, DID YOU GET STUCK even once? (don't lie)
(i've never gotten stuck there, and my truck has never broken down anywhere either)

Alright Fatty, done with work and the TH is back in storage.

Here goes. Pismo was great. Met allot of good people and had allot of fun. There was no river to drive through and because thur night was the highest tide of the year I just turned left and gunned it until my tires started spinning. Worked and we were 20' from the high tide. Getting out I just used plywood under trailer and TV and backed out under my own power much to the chagrin of all my new found friends who were drooling to use there tow rope. The weather was great and no wind to speak off. some of the veterans told me it was the best weather they have seen at Pismo. Trailer towed great but you sure know its back there. Truck did great too. Real happy with the Allison. Can't wait to put a programmer on and some new tires and wheels though. Loved the TrailAir. Only one problem with the trailer. The fuel pump on the Onan quit. Used a backup Gen and all was well. Called WW and they are going to replace it. All I have to do is bring the bad one and my VIN. So the family had a great time and BB and diirk were great, I did'nt get to spend much time with them with all the relitives I had to entertain but what time I did spend with there group was great. Very nice people.

Griz
