Plumbing question?

I just replaced the flex lines for my fresh water tanks, both the filler line and the line that connects the two tanks.

My question is what do I use to stop the small drips coming out? I used hose clamps but I still have a small leak.

Second question is what can I use on the fitting that screw into the tanks? I noticed a small leak coming from the fitting as well.

Thanks!

1.) Without seeing it I would suggest silicone but only tighten the clamps 95% let the silicone set and then tighten the last 5%.

2.) Teflon tape the brand I prefer is Blue OX and then liquid pipe dope. Make sure it is approved for use with drinking water. Keep the Teflon tape off the last thread. If the Teflon tape gets into (hope there is a screen or filter in the system) the FW pump the Teflon will wreck it.
