Question Pressure Tank

Question for anyone. Has anyone ever tried or thought about installing a small pressure reservoir tank on your water system. Like what you have on a well water system for a house. It was just a thought that popped into my mind and I was wondering if anyone had ever tried it. Or what would be the problems of doing it.

Check the Camping World catalog or web site. They have them, so I guess the answer is YES it has been thought of.

Here's a link to one, there are others too:

Yes you can. We have the small blue size (2-3gal?) from Lowes installed under the sink. There are air bladders that are "RV" marketed, but there is no difference but the label.
Just make sure you adjust the air pressure in it to work with your pump.

Had one for the last 13 years in our RVs

I have my tank charged to 27 psi. There is a procedure to set the pressure though. When using the tank I can go 13 secs between when the pump kicks on compared to in and off about every second. If I turn off the pump it will push water for 22 seconds. This really isn't important to rv'ing unless you are using the on board tank and pump. Using city connection it doesn't help any unless there is very low pressure.

Sureflo is a pretty popular pump. Flow and pressures is pretty standard, generally pressure is around 35 some may be 40 and flows are 2.8-3.3. So just about any pump should do you just fine.
