Well I wanted to see if anybody has replaced the carpet in there toy hauler. We took the carpet out of our 04 FS2600 and removed apx. 25+ pounds of sand (we sand camp all the time) I wanted to replace the carpet with black & white checkered vinyl thinking that it would be eayser to keep clean. My main concern is a fuel leak from one of the quads eating a hole in the vinyl.

What ya think?

Thanks,

Don

Don:

Howdy!! Glad to see ya here...

I don't know what WW gets for a replacement carpet, but I'd go the carpet route again- they would be sooooo echo-y without carpet (and cold on the footsies also! ). But you could also just get remnant pieces or even a cut piece from any store that handles carpet- it's not that much money, and even better- a carpet shop can sew on the edging to make it look custom.

We're in the sand all the time also, but don't seem to have that problem. You can also just roll it up when you're out there- and if you lay the vinyl down, you'd have the best of both worlds.

Just my $0.02...

Sean

Well the wife said that we could use a runner carpet down the center. Also need to get something like a golf shoe cleaner to take the bulk of the sand off before we enter the trailer.
