Well, that sucks!

We could change to the early part of May but we're going to have the same problem. We don't have any way of reserving a spot in the desert, nor do we know of where any is located that would fit us.

I don't have any suggestions at the moment. The places I know of in Colorado and New Mexico, you can't ride out of unless you're street legal. I think we are going to have to find someone that lives around there to help us or we send out a search party.

Question, using dispersed camping, don't we have to have so many feet or room between camping sites, thought I saw that somewhere.

Well, I'm open to suggestions.

Dispersed camping on BLM or National Forest lands has no limits that I'm
aware of. I'll do some checking...... here is
an information link click

After a few private and public messages it seems that Moab is not going to
be a great choice for our big group, however, it has been suggested
by several folks to think about the Paiute ATV Trail area near Marysvale, Ut.
We recently explored some of the surrounding trails in that area and it is
just beautiful and ATV friendly

We'll need to find a dispersed group campground below 8000 feet.

Moab, Zion, Bryce are not that far away for those who might be interested in
breaking away for a side trip or day trip.

It is in the Fishlake National Forest area and it appears that
the temperature averages look good for our dates.

Here is the website for the Piute Trail:

Here is the weather averages for the area:
