Wow...can't believe we never announced this here- of course, I know many of the peeps that know about are also over on the alternate channel- it is open to those here who would lie to try it out!

I'm sure Phatty wouldn't mind, so I've borrowed his venacular to start the announcement...

It's that time again...I want to get this one kicked off early this year so nobody can say they didn't have enough time to plan.

*** ROWDY AT SPOT-X III ***

Arriving Thursday October 26th

Departing Sunday October 29th

(We'll all be home in plenty of time to pull off Halloween...so that excuse won't fly people.)

Spot "X"...just before Baker, 4 miles SE off the 15 freeway. Entry is a sandy single lane desert road. Most everyone gets in/out without a problem, even the 2X4's and the big Class-A's. If you drive a little Honda or something, you might have an issue. Totally dry camping. Riding is a mix of rocky/sandy desert trails, and there a couple dunes. Paddles would be ill-advised however. If you don't know where Spot-"X" is, plenty of people in here do. PM for directions.

This is offically no longer the annual "guy" trip. It's the usual RV.net family atmosphere. Large cozey camper circle. Group rides. Fireworks. Bon-fire. Mini-pools for the tykes. And of course the group potluck, followed by in-costume Trick-Or-Treating Saturday night. Please remember to bring candy for the kids. And if you put carved pumpkins in front of your rig...you are a cool-cat in my book.

However...those that are faint-of-heart may wish to avoid this trip. That would be any of the Class-A forum silvers who equate playing with Sobe bottles in the fire to the black death, gay marriage, pornography, the emergence of rock n roll, etc. You get the idea. If you don't like us, or what we do in the desert, stay home. And please don't bother to post in this thread.

I'm not trying to scare anyone off...just don't want anyone surprised. We party loud, we party late, and we party together. Like family. So just to clarify...I just want people to understand that we're gonna play our music, and shoot our fireworks, and have cocktails around a big campfire, into the wee hours. That's all. Feel comfortable with your kids being there...I do.

With that said...EVERYONE is welcome to attend. Let's get the list of attendees started...

*PS* Bring some FIREWOOD!

Yikes...now I KNOW we're in trouble

Wow...Scotter (hey youse guys!)...QH...and who else? WES?! Oh for cryin' out loud..it's only a few thousand gallons of fuel...WTH?! (Those with boat fetishes know what I'm talking about... )...

And Eric...you've got it...right behind us, say, a few feetback from the outboard speaker, right?!

I don't particularly condone the SoBe action, but I do embrace it (as long as I'm far enough away)! I let those numerous fire guys that are out there take care of the action by which they are so enambered of.

Should be a really good one! Anyone else?!

I second the motion. But due to my losses at CALNEVORE (chairs, clothing, hair, etc) I will be at a safe distance.
