Hello - We are new to this forum. We have been looking "hi and low" to find a 5th or gooseneck toy hauler under 31 -- preferably about 27 ft -- with slide preferred in living area. Anyone know of a brand that makes this?

hey Zelda, welcome to the sight.
The only one that comes to my mine is Weekend Warriors Super Lite model. They used to make a 28' 5th wheel(SL2805), I don't think it had the room for a slide though.
Good Luck
Rod

I looked at the Rampage too, was not impressed one bit, workmanship was terrible, the dinette was not level, fit and finish was terrible. And this was a unit at the Pomona R.V. show where you'd think they'd bring out their best. I was extremely dissappointed since the length was good for us.
We just bought a Rage'n 3005. It's 30'5" long, not including the pin box which JUST fits in our driveway but the quality is not even in the same league as the Rampage. You owe it to yourself to check it out. The other option is a Thor product which is the same length as our but we didn't like the layout but quite a bit cheaper and we just traded in a Wanderer so we knew what the quality was like and were satisified. Just my $.02

KZ Sportster comes in a 25' and 29' fifth wheel. I wanted a garage and looked at the 29. Too small living space for me but otherwise nice rig. The 25 is an open floorplan toyhauler. Had my KZ for a little over a year now and have had no problems.

Welcome to iRV2 and to our part of it - the ToyHaulers.
Out of curiosity, what kind of tow vehicle do you have, what kind of toys, where abouts do you live ??? You can fill in your signature area with stuff, it helps give us an inkling of whats up.
again, a big WELcome here

Well I am another very very satisfied Rampage owner. I own the 327 which is the exact same floor plan as the 289, just a bit longer then you want. I am surprised Naykid was not impressed. He must have seen a poor unit for one reason or another. I have never heard of someone complain about the workmanship. I know when we upgrade to a bigger unit( if ever) it will be another Rampage!
