I decided to cut off about 5 foot of useless sewer line of the rig.
I used a $1.49 ABS coupler

now that is sharp!
you cut out the useless length and recoupled the two pieces?
that is something that caught my eye right off the bat, our quick-clean hose attachment wasn't going to work real well with the LOOOOOONG length of pipe it would have to shoot water up

good job

out of curiosity, after your trial run, what else is on your 'gonna get around to it' list ??

OK...now this is something I can relate to! I've been meaning to do this to ours- seems as thought they got one he!! of a buy on 3" black pvc, and it just hangs down there like...er...you know what!

If you boondock alot, this is a really good idea...which is what we do the most, so it's a REALLY good idea (kudos to 56 for gettin' to it first!). If you 'site' it, just have an extra hose (with the coupler) to get to the drain....

Good job 56! Do we dare ask what's on your mind for the next tidbit o' info?

Looks good. You sure don't waste any time.
Feel free to come hang out at my place so you can tweak my rig some.

Diirk!!

Hey stranger! Glad to see 'ya here...56 can make it over to your place just after he leaves mine, OK?

I suspect that if we really get him wound up, he'll shatter like a cheap watch...

Hey...have fun!!

Sean

Howdy Sean,
You may be right, I worry about 56 a little. He's one of those highly motivated individuals that sets the bar to high for the rest of us.

That 56...I guess we'll just have to watch him a little bit closer to make sure he doesn't go off the edge (like paint'n the frame blue or sumpthin', eh?).

This is just great.... When I ordered my TH I thought it was going to be perfect. I haven't even got it yet and thanks to 56, I've got a list of improvements I want to do.
