Just being at the NNC Races this last weekend at California Speedway (Fiasco Explained Here, there's some talk about requiring some type of modified exhausts on RVs at these functions due to the close proximity of all the rigs- which I'm all for now.

Now...for that Gen-Turi product- it looks great, but $133-148 Dollars?! If you do something else (which I'm sure many of you do), let us know!

I remember that- it was Rod (Melon). I've got this linked to a few other forums here o I can get a better 'feel' for the situation.

Senor Thomas:

Dang...you don't need to put it THAT way!

Oh...I should have also solicited some comments on who's got a rig where it is already plumbed up to the top...that's one thing I'd wish some Mfrs would do.

I have read several topics on that other fourm in the class A section. Several made their own. I have only had the problem once and I was able to move and it went away.

Phil:

Excellent...I learned the reason for the gap between the two pipes! Now to get Y-Guy to pipe in here and tell us what additional modifications he did to sweeten it up....

I just breath deeply until I pass out.

My buddy bought one of those exhaust extenders that you have to mount to the side of the trailer and it extends up past the roof line. You take it off when traveling, but it works pretty good. Cut down on the noise alot also.

If you go to "FIND" and type in "generator exhaust" there are 293 posts to your question some selfmade exhaust extensions.

you briefly hit on the amount of HEAT the geenys produce, I find the heat cloud to be worse than the exhuast.
this past winter i ran mine to warm up the ground some so i could do some preventive maintenance under teh caoch, (yes i turned her off)
