Are there any Texas dove hunters on this forum. If so, where are you from, what type of toyhauler do you have and where do you hunt?
My WW FS2300 is in the dealers shop right now and they can't gurantee it will be out by September 1. Just my luck but I am loading the ATV in the back of my truck and tent camping if I have to.
I will be hunting on my lease near Graham Texas Friday Sept. 2 then that evening I will be traveling farther West to hunt on a friends ranch near Haskell Texas the rest of the weekend.

So lets hear it from some of you Texas guys/gals. All I ever get to talk to on this here forum are SoCal folks and all they want to talk about is dooning and spooning, moding and hot roding, mountain roads and fancy toweds. (If you think a towed is a type of frog......you might be a redneck.)

Bubba
As you can see, i spent a little time a couple weeks ago actually talking about your new club here:
Bubba's Double Barrel and CornJug Club
with this gentleman here:
5th Question-off road
(you'll notice i gave your new Club a plug)

Our SoCal Icefisherman's Club unfortunatly, although off on a grand start, suffered a minor setback with our usual onset of 100 degree weather after our brief 2 day winter.

Your new Club appears to be planned better,
looking forward to (me quietly) listening to you guys talk of your huntin' adventures,

FatDogFish

I just returned home from a Texas trip sunday night and while I was there, I remembered dove hunting in Palmer, Texas around the cotton fields and also on my lease at the time in Young County. Same town as Twinbubba. It was a blast and I miss the hunt. We don't hunt dove up in Mass. and I remember telling my home town buds about it and I got weird looks. While down in Tx. I was able to see Robert Earl Kean at Billy Bob's. What a show!! I'm looking forward to our early goose season here in Mass which will be in September.

Twin, I've been down to that area quite a bit at Graham, racing at the airport there almost every year for several years. Have lots of friends that live down there and a friend in Dallas that bought I think, 40 acres of land there. Nice area. Good luck with the hunt.

Tom, I pass right by the airport on the way to my lease. If you get down that way again they just built a fabulous steak house about 16 miles south of town on highway 16. Click here for their WEB site. This place is beautiful, this is where I took my wife on our last anniversery which was also our first trip in the TH.

If you are ever get down that way again check it out the food is great.

Larry
