Tire suggestions?

I have a '04 Dutchmen Victory Lane 35SRV with a gross weight right around 14k. It's currently got 235/85/16 E rated truck tires on it. I'm needing new tires and trying to decide between going back to the E rated truck tires or going for a ST tire at G rating to actually have enough tire to handle the weight. One of my local suppliers has Samson G rated ST tires in stock but I don't know much about them outside of the fact that they are Chinese stock. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas as to which direction I should go?

The two most common replacement tires that I know about are Maxxis and Sailun - at least at reasonable price points. 235/85/16. We're running the Sailun's - they're literally 61 lbs each compared to 32 lb on the stock tires.

110 psi pressure at max load. Make sure your wheels and valve stems are appropriated rated.

Michelin XPS Ribs will be perfect for your operation. I ran them on my last rig that weighed similar to yours.

I ran them 5 years and best of all they are speed rated to 75 mph.

At a rating of 3,042/lbs @80 PSI, you wont have to buy new wheels.

I also run Michelin XPS Ribs, I had mine for six years 15,000+ miles and still look new. They weigh about twice a much as the China Bombs that came with the trailer. You won't go wrong with these tires.

I've heard nothing negative about Sailuns. From what I've seen and heard,...an impressive tire for the price.
