"Tom:

Got the BFG T/A's on ours, but I can't give you a definitive answer on how they're wearing yet (can you wait about 30,000 miles?)..."

Remember that? On Page 1- no wonder you can't remember- you've killed a few brain cells since then!!

But I know I'll be going to either Bridgestones or Michelins when I've got to replace 'em...

Sean"

By god, you're right! For once. I apologize for losing that brain cell. Won't be the last time I'm sure.

Great minds think alike, even if you got yours with the truck. By the time I put 30 on mine you might change your mind, I HOPE.

Boy, now we can trade looks at tires next year in Moab.

Yeah, think I have one or two left.

Sounds great, get that old truck outa here. Money, whats that! O, probably something you only need when you own a truck and RV. We're filthy rich, didn't you know. Everyone I know thinks that, kinda like the lottery. I just keep telling them, good credit! Course that means you pay your bills I guess. Thats why we still work while some of us get to go play, know what I mean? (56)

Wow Senoir Tomas:

You're getting better...a post on a "T" thread without the "T" word in it...good job!

Now banks- they're filthy rich- not us debt-ridden peeps. They got an asset, I've got a bill, but neither one of us can take it with us!

Now I have a post without the "T" word in it!

Sean

On my truck, the first set lasted barely 20,000.
The second lasted about 25,000. The third set, Yokohamas lasted 45,000
and I'm on the forth set (Yokohama's) have lasted over 45,000 and have maybe another 3000 left on them. I like the Yokohamas, great traction wet and dry, quite running on the freeway, and smooth. I will probally but another set before oru next big trip.

Getting ready to go camping for the 4th. Looks like this may be turning into a Chevy-Ford thing. Wasn't this a tire tread....right up my alley.

1991 C-1500 428,000 original miles , now living with our daughter and "son" in St. Louis. Hope they keep it clean in winter. 2000 Silverado 168,000 original miles, in fact its all original except the fluids and filters and maybe some bulbs.

Everyone have a great 4th. I'm taking my safe and sane carbide cannon. All the noise and no danger.

We live out in our old van. Travel all across this land. Drive until the city lights dissolve into a country sky, me and you - hand in hand.

Nawww..T & P...Senoir Tomas and I have sparred on this before...he's just licking his wounds, waitin' for it to scab over so he can go on to the next treatment...

Cannon? CANNON? Now THAT'S a 4th kinda of relic! THAT I could get into! BOOM...while the star-spangled banner tunes are going off. Can you bring to Moab?

Hey...how are things on my old home town anyway? did you see one of relatives (betcha you did!)?

Naw, never a ford/chevy type of deal here. Just a Sean/Tom deal. And I win!
