Toy hauler ramp patio

Dear Friends, over the past few years, I've seen toy haulers where the ramp is converted into an extended patio covered by a bug net. Most posts are 5-10 years old. What is the status of this option now? Most ramp/patio covers appear to be manufacturer specific. Some brave souls made their own from PVC. I am allergic to anything that bites and this type of ramp extension is extremely attractive to me (in addition to the ramp space). Any comments/suggestions? Thanks! Lynn

Camping world has a Xtend a room on sale with every thing included. You may want to check out Amazon to compare pricing.
The link provided is not not intended to be an advert for CW just an illustration of what you are looking for.

Lynn,

We have the ramp patio on our Carbon 357. It does not come with the bug net, but it does have an electric awning. Soundman7 is right, you'll have to go aftermarket for the bug net.

We love the patio option.

We have the patio setup on our 2015 Dutchman Voltage 3970 and absolutely love it. It does NOT have any sort of bug screen, however. There are sliding doors between the garage and ramp/patio that are screen and covered with heavy duty plastic.

I'm a little confused, Major & Jerryhopper say you have the porch option, with no bug screen but the pic in the link from Soundman looks to be fully screened in. Do you have different porches or do I not understand what I'm seeing in the pic. Thanks
