Toy Hauler that my Boat will fit in.

Work has put me in an interesting situation that I feel I might be better served with a 5th Wheel for living in over renting a house and never living in it but maybe 5-7 days out of the month. However I want to have my 20' Bass Boat with me while traveling and would prefer to not live out a hotel. So my question is does anyone know of a manufacture that would make a cargo area big enough for a 20' Bass Boat to fit in. Total length needed with boat, motor, jack plate and swing away trailer hitch for boat trailer would need to be 23 feet.

It might be a pipe dream of a wish but maybe someone has seen one or knows of a company that makes a trailer that would work for my uses.

Thanks in Advance,
Jerrod

I have seen some very long horse trailers converter to RV's on the internet. The trailers are custom designed to owner requirements.

Jerrod;

That is a great idea, I am sure that you can find one long enough, width might be tight, and you could mount a winch in front under the bottom step like in my Dune Chaser to pull it in with the right winch. My concern would be the weight of the boat as cargo it would not leave much for belonging. Then you would need a tow vehicle to handle it all.

I thought most full size bass boats are on trailers that are at least 96", and some 102" wide. Never heard of a toy hauler with a rear door that wide. You don't say where you live, but your best bet may be to double tow.

Thanks for the welcome and all good ideas. I was hoping to not have to spend a small fortune or anything equivalent to buying a house. My main residence is in GA, office is in Pittsburgh PA, and I will be traveling/working for the next year. I am currently renting a home in PA for the time I am up there but for the amount I am spending I was hoping to be able buy an RV and keep my boat with me at the same time so I could fish when not working. Keeping it stored in a trailer was also a security issue. Keeping it in the trailer and locked up would be nice this way I didn't have to unload the gear all of the time.

I'll have to check on the width. I was so focused on the length that I didn't think of that issue.
