Clark, I hafta tell you. Every time I think about this thread........

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> YO SEAN!!!! TURN DOWN THAT STEREO SYSTEM!!!! THEY THINK THERE'S BEEN A FRIGGIN' EARTHQUAKE!!!
</div></BLOCKQUOTE>

I start laughing all over again. I still think this is the best quote of the millennium. I think I'll have a banner made with this. In fact, I think we oughta notify the Calif seismic org of Sean's existence, just in case. They're probably out looking for him anyway.

Oh god, just can't help myself.

Tom:

Already registered with the RNR/NASA/USGS groups. I already got the special sensor they plant in my coach and my front lawn at home that they use to deduct a 'sound' factor from any local quakes (why do you think they quickly downgraded the Yucaipa Quake from a 5.3 to a 4.9?)

I'm still LMAO over this thread.

Anymore aftershocks in Yucaipa Sean? I hope it's calmed down.

Sean,

All calm here in Verdi. We haven't had a quake in a couple of years, It was a 4.9 roller centered about 4 miles from our house.

I can handle that magnitude OK, any more then that and I don't like em.

HD:

That's a big 10-4 on that...seriously, I can vividly remember the Landers and Big Bear quakes down here back in 92...I WAS on Xanax for two weeks after that- Lord knows what I'm livin' so close to 'em (we were about 30-40 miles as the crow flies), but been just about everywhere here in the US and there's always sumpthin'.

OK...now that we know Wes is OK...how 'bout them Sandys and Howies? They've been 'close' to some of the bigger ones here in California...any vibes kids?

Sean

good one Sandy!!
(and nice avatar as well)

Sean, did you say USGS pegged the epicenter just a mile and a half from your house?! Thats close, ehhh??? You guys must have been shaking a bit.
The news at night certainly has been talking about the CA quakes lately. And no matter how long you have lived thru quakes, they do seem to rattle you for a bit.
