Ok, I was putting in my 6V batteries today.
Took the 12V out and it had acid dripping off the bottom.
I thought maybe they overfilled it with water, no big deal.
I checked the battery box, and the numbskulls at Warrior that screwed the battery box to the frame, did not seat the screws in far enough. The head of the screw was sticking up and the battery was rubbing on it. I looked at the bottom of the battery and sure enough, there was a slight hole rubbed in it where the screw had been.

I took the box out, cleaned it out real well, got new screws, the right kind, and re-attached everything.

I already have paint and metal attacked by acid and my trailer is only 1 mo old.

Hey Linc...TTT...no problem here...first thing I did was convert to 6's- made my own frame to house them, but I did lose the boxes- with the rate at which they will charge/discharge, I figured they didn't need a coat on. But I did put a cover on the top so if we load anything up front that has any inkling of metal in it, that they don't get shorted.

Thanks! Sean
