Weigh stations CO. UT. NV

I an a Newbe and have searched these forums and can not find a definitive answer to Weather or not stop at DOT weigh stations?
The states I am traveling in are Colorado, Utah, and Nevada.
What are they looking for (overweight, Licensing.)
I will be picking up me new TH in Denver and taking it home to Las Vegas. Thank you 80

Live in CO and never have stopped. My understanding is only commercial vehicles.

I've been to every of the lower 48 states and never stopped at the weigh stations.

Commercial vehicles only.

Thank you everyone for your input I talked to those weigh stations they told me since it is my personal (not commercial) vehicle am not required to stop.
