How many '06 Weekend Warrior owners have this wrapped up speaker
wire dangling in the box where your shore power cord is stored?
Apparently some of us have them... others don't.
I looked at King Salami's new LE, and he does not have it.
Then the next question is....... what is it for?
I called my sales guy and he promised to call me back with the answer from WW

Eh, could that be for your "powered" speaker.
OK, now for the serious answer, anybody got one?

i haven't seen one in my power box, but i'll pull my shore power cord out and take a better look.
Do you have the external speaker wires at the rear of your trailer? maybe those are your externals and they are just wrapped up in your power box. Mine are dangling underneath the rear frame. In retrospect, i'd rather have them capped off in the power box area.

On my 2003 WW, the two exterior speaker wires were located
on each side of the entry door.
I had assumed that was the case with the new '06 WW
I just spent some time under the rig, and I find only
one exterior speaker wire located on the door side.
So I have to assume the speaker wire we have in the
power box, is indeed the other speaker wire

at least give the man a chance to keep both hands full
56'
those speakers wires must terminate back at the stereo area (above the kitchen sink.)
Have you put some cheap garage speaker (you must have one laying around somewhere) onto that wire in your electrical box, and then tapped all the wire ends near where the stereo would go with a 9-volt battery?? The speaker will click-click when you find the right wire.
Hey, theres one more use for your new 9-volt battery...first for your new Sears voltmeter, and now tracking stereo wires down.

Actually, this is the only type of speaker Howie ever uses.
(Luv you, bro.)

Ok...Ok...I'm hands-free (except for that humongous flashlight I've got in my hand)....walking...squatting...looking...looking.. .Nope- iksnay on the wireski.
Must be an LE thing...hey...look at this this way...at least you're not one wire shy of a sound system!
It must be for something other than sound- there's no reason for them to have any speaker stuff on that side of the coach. Any word from the WW Gov-na?
Sean

How do you think I saved up enough to buy this rig?

Mystery partially solved: I put a 9 volt battery on the mystery wire then removed the
cabinet bottom accessing and revealing all the stereo wires and fuel station gauge
wires.
There were only two unattached speaker wires here, so I took my volt meter
and tested both of them. Low and behold, one of them was hot with 9 volts.
(Thank you guys for talking me into buying
a volt meter)
This means I have one external speaker wire dedicated to the right side of my rig
and the other external speaker wire dedicated to the left side. Why?

Hey...a quick accountant question: "What do you get when you add 2 and 2? (This is a test Howie!).

That is certainly a question that Weekend Warrior
should be asking their wiring employees to
answer BEFORE they do any work on these rigs.
Poor King Salami has spent endless hours re-doing shody
wiring work.
Wait till he tells you about what the WW welders
did to all his wires under the rig

Welllllll.. my guess is his employees would answer "quattro". Which is STILL the wrong answer...it should be "What do you want it to be?".
Welders/wires?! They don't go together very well...what happened to the PDI process? King...sure you don't want to take it over to Perris and stay at our place? This outta be quite the story...spill it Kingy Baby!
