OK...I'm gonna try this "poll" thing...let's see how it goes, at the risk of having this post moved over to the Rv'ing the Martha Stewart Style Forum (sorry gals...there's not really a forum on this!).

I've already ordered ours, as well as others have (56- time to share! FatDog- you're next!), but since curiosity killed the cat, what's your favorite Warrior interior color? Giant says the Batchelor Pad Billet is the hot thing, but my particular tastes disagree (not to mention adding on $$$). Call me Tan, but please don't call me Billet- that's America!

Just to make it fair for everyone, if you don't know what the colors are, you can first look here: http://www.warriormfg.com/ , choose Features, then Interior.

CAST YOUR VOTE, PLEASE:

darn it, i do an internet search every night on Martha Stewart, and tonite it led me right back to you guys,
thats kinda harsh,
billet here boys for this time around,
and let me tell you something about ol' FatDoggie,
every street car I've built since H.S. I think has been primer grey; i am into go-not show; dungarees not those silly western wear pants; Bud, not microbrew; i wear my shirts untucked,
BUT, and I mean BUT this first time in my life i tapped ol' Cordie on the sholder and told her that i think we're gettin the billet interior.

Sure, that kind of stuff is silly when important stuff like Craftsman vs. SnapOn needs to be discussed,
but i got one maybe silly vote for (billet)

pack o' smokes in my t-shirt sleeve Mike

56:

Not now!! But, I'll be honest-that was our second choice. But the hair off the Golden changed the decision!

I just looked again at the interior options site.

It says....."Solid Cabinet Doors"

Does that mean real solid oak as opposed the the photo
oak finish?

Any 06er's know?

56: Oh..you are ready, aren't you? Talk about "kickin the tires"- and you're online- whew...take some meds, OK?

I'll believe "solid" when I see it. And if I see it, the next thing I'm gonna do is compare the brouchure's weight to the delivered weight! Then count my lucky stars!

i don't think they are solid oak
and I can't believe I didn't check that out fully, but i've opened them up a number of times on the demo unit and would have remembered
but we aren't Alfa guys are we !!
well maybe in a few years you guys will be

and by the way, Clark... you out there anywhere???
( Clark from a couple years back, and a solid guy to boot, turned and became an Alfa man, and they don't come any better. wouldn't be surprised if he still lurks down here. Lancaster man if i recall. )

(so are we going to petition for a Martha Stewart interior design area here? )

And if they're solid OAK...define OAK!!

One of our group has already turned Alfa on us...but I have to admit it's to die for. If only I can find that right Bank...

I say we give it a few days, then we can email MS and let'r have it! Beats any floral placemats she could come up with!

Whatdayathink?

Maybe I should've told you, but the "Blue" option, as well as the "Billet" Option on the ballot are (aauugggh!!! What's the word for sugar pills!!!)...well...blew that!

But we'll still let Martha know!

OK, you asked for it..... Where are the Tiki guys?

What is Tiki?

Here it is.........

The Tiki culture started in the 1930's because of the mystery, beauty, and serenity of the tropical islands in Tahiti and the South Pacific. The 30's were a time just after the depression and prohibition. Americans wanted an escape after going through such tough times. They fell in love with the Tiki culture, which reached its peak in popularity during the 50's and 60's. Bars and restaurants started serving island drinks in huge coconut bowls, adorned with little umbrellas and fruits. Island music would play in the background and the thatched hut decor would be reminiscent of the tropical islands. People started to feel as if they were actually on a tropical island.

In the late 1990's Tiki bars and the Tiki culture started seeing a massive resurgence. Now, new Tiki bars are opening up all the time and there is an increasing demand for everything Tiki as well as WW interiors.

Time for more medication....
