WW won't have the 16" tires and rims I need for nine days. Add another five plus days for shipping and it will be too long a wait.
I'm sure I could get a better tire then WW offers anyway.
Has anyone researched an after-market 16" rim that has the correct lug spacing, back spacing, and PSI rating to fit Weekend Warriors?
Wes

Te te te...love that title there Wes!! (They're coming to to take me away, a-ha, they're coming to take me away!)
boy...sure wish I could help you here- there should be some out there that have the 16's, but the trick will be knowing who the Mfr is and the sizes (of the rims- tires are easy).
Good luck...I'll be watching this one closely!!

If you know the manufacturer and model (capacity) of the axles that will be used, tires and wheels are available from sources such as southwestwheel.com. I've never tried them for trailer wheels, but tirerack.com might be able to supply wheels and tires as well.

Wes
since (I presume that) WW is now providing these appropriate wheels/tires for the FSC,
i would imagine they went through this already. Will WW give you their short list of adequate wheels and tires?? I HOPE that their delay is caused by the normal slowdown involved in a bulk order, ...
... but will they give you this info and let you expedite this IMPORTANT and THEIR ORIGINALLY OVERLOOKED item on your own ? And of course, reimburse you at least for the amount they would have spent. Ahhh shoot, reimburse you for WHATEVER it costs you within reason.

Big buford,
Thanks for the link......I haven't been to that site in a few days so I hadn't seen that thread.
I did a little research on those Eagle alloy 0550-7766 rims. They're 6 on 5.5 with a -10 mm offset and are rated at 3040#. They have a machined finish.
Eagle also makes the same rim in a polished finish for about $10 more each. The part # is 0559-7766.
Some of the peeps that chimed in said they rubbed when their rig was loaded heavy, so I'm still going to lift my coach.
Thanks everyone,
Wes

Hey Wes,
According to Lincster....you needed the -10 offset when putting the 225 tires on a non lifted trailer.....He told me I should go with a 0 offset so the 235 tires will fit. I would ask WW before ordering the rims.

Thanks James.......I'll definitely call before I order. Good info.
Sean, This still might be the setup for you without the 2" lift. Not sure though.
On edit: Sean, James told me that the tires mentioned in that link are only rated to 2840 lbs. That won't work for me, but with triple axles, will they give you the weight capacity your looking for?
Wes

Wes
are those rims rated at 3040# the highest rated rims you are finding?
