1974 winnebago Travel Trailer operators manual

hello,

I just purchased a 1974 winnebago Chieftain Travel Trailer and I am desperate to find someone with an operator manual that they could scan and send me a copy. I am trying to figure out house everything works. I can get it running off 110v but not off 12v there are switches here and there and I would like to know what they do. If you can help drop me a line.

Thanks
Trevor

Trevor,
In 74 Winnebago typically routed the shore power cable to a breaker box however, being a trailer it might go directly to a converter (converts 120VAC to 12VDC). There may or may not be a house battery installed. You need to find the converter. Here is a link to my RV Electrical information which includes many of the older units. For the most part Winnebago only used Progressive Dynamics and Phillips converters at that time frame.
