The best way is to take it to a scale and weigh it. As for the GVWR there should be some sort of plaque with that info stamped on it sometimes it is on the frame by the tounge, sometimes it is on the street side of the TT near the bottom of the front corner.

I have the 1985 version of this and it is not on my TT. Maybe taken off or they just did not do it back then.

However, if you are looking to buy one and just need to see the weight (as I did when I was shopping) you have to go on line and do the best you can.

I found that NADA was dead on or really close. I tested it against some Craig's List ads where the seller would send me the weights and then I compared on that site. It was my only way to see how accurate they are. Not perfect but gave me a good ball park for seeing if my TV could pull it safely.

I owned a '67 Kit and it had a GVWR plaque on the tounge. The numbers were stamped on so they would not wear off over time.

The other point that needs to be made is that brouchure weights are not accurate - except for the GVWR. Usually the brouchure wt is light - which goes along with the over rated tow ratings of tow vehicles.
