On dec 26th my family's house burnt to the ground. A friend of ours let us borrow his motorhome until we find a place to stay. We have been jumping from camp ground to camp ground, however, now we have run into a problem. The motorhome wont start. It is a 1990 mallard sprinter and it will turn over, gets plenty of power and everything its just not getting gas. We would ask our friend about it but the day after he let us take it he died so we are on our own when it comes to fixing it. We have gone to several different RV places and no one knows what to do. We think it might be the fuel shutoff switch. Anyone know how to reset them?

There is a company on the internet that sells reproduction service manuals for nearly every vehicle, farm tractor, or engine driven equipment. Hopefully you will find the website. Have you checked all the fuses, both under the hood and under/in the dash? Most gas engines have a fuel pump in the gas tank, has it been checked? I've never seen a fuel shut-off solenoid on a gas engine.
On another note, you now have a second problem, if you get stopped by a LEO they may ask for proof you have permission to drive the MH, proof of insurance, etc. With the owner dead this may cause issues.

Ford used an inertia switch to shut off the fuel flow in case of a wreck and most where located on the passenger side in front of the door under the dash behind the plastic kick panel. That said I doubt it is your problem. My guess it is the fuel pump in the tank and if it has more than one tank each will have a pump. If it does have two tanks there is a switching valve that looks like a filter housing but there is no filter in it. There could also be a fuel filter in line that takes a special tool to change (you can get them at an auto parts store at one time).

I would start working from the tank/s forward to see where the fuel stops flowing.
