YOu have to have the RV plugged into 120 VAC power for the frig to work on electric. If the heater element is not getting hot, the element may be bad.
Not all water heaters are gas/electric. See if in the outer compartment there is an on/off switch. There should also be one inside as well and they both have to be on. NEVER turn on the electric to an electric hot water heater, unless it is full of water.
