Hi, does anyone have one? How do you like it? Is Jayco a reputable name?

Sue,

We've owned 3 Jaycos, a Cardinal pop-up and 2 Designer 5th wheels. Jayco has an excellent reputation for quality at its price point as well as a reputation for doing what it takes to make the customer happy. All of ours gave us years of dependable service.

Having said that, the condition of a 2001 year model RV, regardless of brand, is going to depend more on usage and maintenance by the previous owner(s) than anything else.

Rusty

Thanks Rusty, we looked at one yesterday, but the "dealer" really had no idea about the unit. The water heater had rust in the outside door, but the unit seemed to be in clean/good shape. We are at a disadvantage, since we only bought new before. Please do not take that the wrong way, we were just lucky. I guess you never know about a used anything.
