The guy across the street from me is visiting his sister and he just bought one. He knows nothing about travel trailers and I don't know much either. Anyway he didn't get any owners manual or anything else with it. Is there anyplace where a manual may be found? I didn't find much on a Google search but I might have missed it.

How is the hot water heater lit? I thought there would be the typical hold the button down, light the pilot light, etc. That's what the instructions state on the door panel however there is absolutely no button to be depressed or valve to be turned anywhere on the thing. I'm sure his wife would like some hot water!

There should be separate manuals for every appliance in the trailer, even down to the propane detector. He will have to get the name and model number of each appliance and Google it. Almost all the owners manuals can be downloaded. I did it for all my appliances even though the printed versions came with the camper. Now I have them all in one place on the computer. Easier than digging through a box of paperwork to find what I need.

Thanks for the info Miljet. I'll tell him that. He was thinking, as was I, that there would be manual on the camper itself.

There should be a manual for the TT as well. In our walk through, we found ours in a manilla folder in a kitchen drawer with all the individual appliance manuals. Even the guy from the dealership doing the walkthrough was pretty bad. The manual was pretty sorry too. I've learned vastly more here in the forum than my own manual! If he really wants one (i would too) maybe go back to dealer?

Thanks Skipper. I think he found it listed on Craigslist in Miami. He's over 300 miles from there now and he's not going back. I'll tell him though.
