2010 Salem Hemisphere 262rlds sway issues-anyone else have this model?

We are towing this TT using the Reese Hitch system, using sway bars and towing with a Ford Excursion. We are still having major sway issues. We are not new to towing a TT. This model wasn't sold for very long...is it because of the heavy rear slide? Is our hitch not set up correctly?

I think you will need to hit the scales and find out the with/without weight distribution with the weight distribution bars and tongue weight before we can make an accurate guess.

Sway is often caused by a lack of toung weight. Try shifting some contents forward. Also, if your hitch is high the resulting incline will shift some of the weight of the trailer to the rear.

I have a 28 foot Salem that never had sway problems when towed with a nissan armada. I purchased a f150 and problems with sway set in. I eventually installed an anti sway friction bar, that helped a lot.
