2011 Springdale - leak under dinette

I noticed tonight under my dinette seating area some items stored under the seat were wet. I have a U shaped dinette and the trouble area is right in the far back corner (its a slideout dinette). The carpet is wet and so is the wood. I want to nip this before it gets too bad. Any ideas here guys.

That is a picture in the corner under the dinette. As you can see it is wet. We just had a tonne of rain.

Any one have experience in this area? All the outside caulked seems look good...no cracks etc. I was thinking maybe the roof but i see no signs of moisture in the ceiling or in the wall leading down to the bottom corner...kind of lost here as water does run down. The seal around the window on that wall looks good as well....

Now i did get up and look at the roof on the slide on that same outside corner and it does look a little funny. Its almost like white tacky and sticky? Does the roof failing on this outside corner?

You know after more reading etc i dont think the roof is the problem. Ive been reading alot about the drip edge or lack thereof at the bottom of the slide wall. I plan to investigate that further today. I cant agree that its too late as nothing even soggy yet. Only discolored.

I hope it's not too bad. Keep us posted. Finding water and figuring out where it's coming from seems that it can be a challenge. I have learned a lot from these type of threads. I may have even become a bit paranoid about checking for leaks!

Truth be told, I have become paranoid about leaks!

Yes it can be tough to find for sure. I resealed all around that entire side of the slideout yesterday including some drilled holes on the underside near the edge in case water was wicking up the holes. The window seemed to be sealed well...i truly do not think its coming from the roof at this point.

Big rain last night. No signs of leakage today. Fingers crossed I may have got it when i sealed all around.

That's good to hear. Some say you can't have "too much truck", "too much ammo", etc. I say you can't have too much Dicor!
