2012 Rockwood 8315BSS Galley

We have the above trailer and our monitor panel is showing the Galley as 2/3 full but to our knowledge we do not have a galley tank. It shows this model as having a 64 gal Gray water tank which appears large in comparison to other models. Anyone have any input for us, thank you. Bigskylabs

I would contact Forest River. The only specs I found were the same info you offered.
Does it have a gray tank monitor in addition to the galley tank monitor?

Thanks, I did contact Forest River and his reply to me this morning was that sometimes they do put a second tank in these units as they are a front kitchen so to check to see if there is another valve on the drivers side, which we have and haven't been able to find. It also has a Grey water button which shows 1/3 full which is probably correct. Thank you, now what?

Perhaps call him back again and explain that you cannot locate any way to empty this tank.

You should have a forward galley tank drain under the middle of the front slide. I have a 2008 and I have two grey water tanks, shower/vanity and galley tank.

We have searched and trust me there is no second valve, I guess someotherposters say that they changed up in 2010 but it is strange that this monitor should indicate 2/3 full so I think they probably have put in one tank with same monitor panel, but why the 2/3, who knows? Thanks for the help, Lynn

That would be a good thing, that is probably the only thing I don't like about our RV! You have to crawl under the front slide to open the valve! A real pain, especially as I get older! I am thinking about putting one of those electric valves on the drains!

Gray water mystery

I have a 2008 Rockwood 2701SS. It has both the gray and galley tanks. When the galley tank gets about 1/3 full it will then cross feed to the gray tank. That is why they give you the combined total for the two tanks. They both empty from the same dump valve. And yes, they have their own separate monitor button on the panel.
