2018 Model Year TT's??

Hi - I'm in the market for a new TT (looking at Jayco, and others). A few questions come to mind I'm sure a lot of you can answer:

1. When do new model year travel trailers typically come out - and is it different for each manufacturer?
2. What type of changes/improvements/upgrades could I expect, if I waited for a new model year - I know thats a pretty vague question - but just wondering if there are often major changes, or if they are more color/material/minor updates
3. Continuing on with the above theme - are there any websites that might offer "previews" or rumor into upcoming model changes (similar to how new model or products in automotive or technology often do)
4. I'm assuming that just like with cars, the outgoing year, as the new incoming year is arriving, have the greatest deals/sales/discounts on them? How deep do they go? I'm told I should expect 30-35 off MSRP (?)
5. A new model year, vs. a one year old discounted model - does the depreciation and resale of the older model, erase and void any sales/discounts you'd get?

Any input is greatly appreciated!!

I'll try to help with a couple of your questions;

We bought our 2017 Keystone Cougar in August of 2016, the dealer told us they just came in. Only real difference was an outside color change (they went lighter with the 2017) and some minor interior cosmetic changes. Other manufacturers may be different with timing.

There were no 2016's left on our dealers lot so I can't say if there would have been any major difference. But as with cars at trade in time the newer unit should help with the value.

I would imagine that so long as the unit has never been used the year would not matter for warranty.

Good luck with your search, I'm sure more will chime in with some help!
