You did have the econo-mode turned off right? If a Boliy becomes overloaded it will disconnect the power, you must shut it off to re-set the breaker. If the automatic breaker did not trip-out, it was not overloaded.

I had the eco off. I used the gen this spring in AZ, put on 30 - 50 hrs dry camping at freightliner haulers gathering at q'site, while broke down in Tulsa and getting toy-tote added in Lake Havasu. did not use ac then. Did use microwave, vacuum, coffee pot etc, battery charger & inverter, worked great. Loaded it to 2160 resistive watts today (all I could find). According to Alpha users, those hp's start real hard. Can't start on house power 15 amp bkr. Both hp's work great on my 7800 watt const gen., so does my wire feed welder, 7 hp air compressor and 12k # car hoist. Gen is too thirsty, heavy and loud to take along for normal use.

Cool Installing a genny "hour meter"

Does anyone know how to install an "hour meter" on a Boliy genny? And where could I purchase one?

Get one of the ones from Sears or like that is used on a lawn tractor. Simple one wire connection to the spark plug wire and attach it to the case.
