AC Unit Cycling?

I have a 2013 Keystone Bullet with a 13.5 Dometic standard ducted AC unit. When the fan is on Auto the unit will, at times, cycle the fan on and off several times in row with about a minute between cycles. The compressor continues to run but the fan stops. I think what it is trying to do is change the fan speed and eventually it will. It also short cycled one night about 4 times before it will ran a full cycle. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what the final outcome was. Thanks for any thoughts.

The new Dometic t-stats shut off the fan when changing between low and high, just for a few minutes. Just run it on high fan.

My 2013 Keystone Cougar High Country kept doing the same as you describe. I solved the problem............traded it off for a 2015 Blackstone.

So does your new trailer have the same Dometic roof unit?

No, it does not have a Dometic unit. It has an RVP/Airxcel/Coleman low profile unit. This unit cycles correctly and the wall control is much nicer and easier to set than the Dometic was. This was not the only reason for trading. Keystone quality has slipped very badly since purchasing my '06 Montana Mountaineer.
