I added this voltmeter from MICTUNING, cost $9.50. I only need it when dry camping so I added the switch all the way to the right ($16!) which was a blank and is labelled "TANK HEATER"

I want to re-label this switch but don't want it to look super obvious, like a p-touch. Any ideas how to label this and make it look good?

I use a Brothers Label Maker. It will make many sizes and styles both vertical and horizontal. You can but the tape in colors and widths. It will look good. Got mine at Office Depot but should be able to get online.

You can get white on black label material for the P-Touch and it'll look closer.

a LED voltmeter draws such a very small amount of power (current) I think I'd wire it in and leave it powered up all the time... I'm guessing that the power requirement is lower than than base power needed to run the circuit board on the refrigerator or furnace...

I added the switch as I wired directly to the battery to avoid any interference. This means the meter would be on even with the disconnect engaged.

Smithers, great job on the meter install, looks good there. I put mine where I could see it all the time, on the range hood. Happy Camping!! Thanks to all who posted that different styles and colors of lable tape are available, I had no idea!
