Adding 2 Jacks

In the pass year we have gone from a 21' trailer without a slide to a 25' with a slide. We have X-Chocks to control front-to-back sway, but we find there is more side to side sway than our older trailer. I was thinking about adding 2 scissor jacks midway of the trailer to help that.

Would this help? Has anyone else done this?

Thanks

On my trailer which will stay in on spot for months at a time I have absolutely no wobble or sway. How I do it is a bit involved but it is worth it. I have 12inch wide by 4inch thick pieces of lumber about 3 foot long that I place 4 jacks on the bumpers and also the electric jack. I also have 2 BAL wheel chucks and we can dance all night and the trailer will not move.

We have two jacks in front of the tires. Since we have shocks on our trailer this helped with the bounce. Also four others and x chocks. The next morning when your tire have cooled down you may have to tighten the jacks. We have had success with this set up, quick and easy, no heavy lifting.
